Can I use a guitar semi-acoustic archtop with an electric guitar amplifier.?
I'm about to buy semi-acoustic guitar already owned a 15w (small) Marshall electric guitar amplifier. Are they reasonably compatible?
You can use it just will not sound acoustics. If you are looking for a true acoustic sound of an amplifier, so you need an acoustic amp. But judging by the fact that your running only one 15-watt amp in any case, it works well. You can run any guitar through any amp, it's just a question of his your search. If it's just to start practicing or playing with a couple of friends, you'll be fine.
